How old is this puppy?

I recently got a shelter puppy, mini schnauzer. He lost his first two baby teeth last wednesday, and over the weekend his two front adult teeth made an appearance. He is 12 1/2 "tall, and weighs 12.9 lbs. Can someone give me a good estimate on his age?

How old is this puppy?
I asked my vet a similar question, I thought my puppy was already 4 months, but when the vet felt his teeth, she noticed that they were not even loose, therefore stated that he had to be less than 4 months. It sounds like your little guy is no more than 17 weeks old.
Reply:Baby teeth generall fall out between 4-5 months of age.

I looks like 4-5 months.
Reply:Maybe about 12 weeks old? That's roughly when the adult teeth start coming in.

Your vet can probably give you a better guesstimate.

He is already tall, the standard is 12-14" for miniature Schnauzers. They're really neat dogs. :o)
Reply:My puppies teeth fell out around 4-5 months so that must be the age. If you still don't know then you could take him to the vet. Or petsmart and ask them.
Reply:about 8 months
