Puppy teething?
Six months (4-7) is about right for your dog to be getting his adult teeth. Chewing is very common during this stage but be careful that it does not become a learned behaviour.

This is often a time that periodontal disease sets in for dogs so it is very important to provide lots of raw meaty bones for your dog to chew on. These will clean and floss the new teeth, massage sore gums and scrape any plaque or tarter of the teeth.

Raw hides and other chew toys have been linked to choking and bowel obstructions so be very careful or better yet stick to the real thing!
Reply:Puppies start to teeth at about 3 months and are done by 6-8 months. I'd say that your dog needs some training not to bite. Biting is how one dog plays with another when they are puppies. Yours must learn that you are not a puppy.
Reply:Puppies start teething approx 14-16 weeks of age.. Punish the dog for teething?? You can give the dogs lots of appropriate things to chew..
Reply:puppies are like babies, they need something to chew on to help cut teeth. how about getting a chew toy for it
Reply:They start losing their teeth at about 3 1/2 months, until their about 7 1/2 months...sometimes a little longer. They start with the incisors (front teeth), then the canines (the "fangs"), then pre-molars, then molars. A lot of the teeth are swallowed, which is fine...

I suggest when the pup starts chewing on something in appropriate, move the pup away from what it's chewing on, and give it something appropriate to chew on (like a teething toy, or some other toy).
Reply:well u have to teach them not to do it...by saying no in a firm voice and u can buy a hard toy for him or her or just wet a washcloth and freeze it and give it to the dog to chew on
Reply:i think when its really little ours is 11 weeks and he's biting everything too. I mean he bites and eats everything....shirts.......... our other dog......hair..... face.....and he even bit my eyeball!! I guess that you get it some teething bones or toys or something. when our pup chews something we don't want him to then we yell at him and pop him. we just distract him with a toy usually. good luck with your pup.
Reply:well Around 4 to 5 months but to control it I heard you can Make some chicken soup (low sodium variety or make it yourself) ice cubes and give them to the puppy.

Soak a clean rag in water, wring it out and then freeze it (rolling it up helps) and give it to your puppy to chew on.

Soften the kibble a bit with water.

Discourage biting on your arm or hand for comfort.

Puppies lose their teeth in a distinct pattern first the small front teeth come out

its a little process hope this help But also don't Beat your dog to punish him/her Ok
