I just got a new puppy.?
my pupply lost his baby teeth around 5 months. Crate training is the absolute best for house breaking. Take him out of the crate, take him outside immediately. If he doesnt go, put him back in the crate, take him back outside in a 1/2 hour. After he goes outside, bring him in and reward with playing. NEVER let him have the opportunity to go inside. Never leave him alone. If he starts to go, pick him up run outside and tell him he's a good boy. Puppy pads are bad because it teaches them it's ok to go in the house. I house broke my german shepherd in 6 weeks. Good luck....sorry this is so long.
Reply:they generally lose their baby teeth at 4-6 months, and as for the chewing, it totally depends on the breed. i have a papillon that never chewed on anything but the ends of my shoelaces, and he only did that once, but labs and some other large breeds will stay in their puppy stage and chew on things for up to 2 years.
Reply:it takes patience

first buy doggie pads

then show the dog the pad

then everytime it poops or pees

run run run 2 the diaper and the dog will smell success

lol

i went through the same thing

it takes a min. 1 week
Reply:as for the house training....after the puppy eats it should go out, after it wakes up it should go out and then about every two hours also. you should try to use the same door when you let the puppy out so it will eventually go to the door and whine when it needs out
