Are puppies born with teeth?

All puppies are born without teeth but by the age of 8 weeks they will have their milk teeth. The permanent teeth appear between 12-18 weeks.

The milk teeth begin to show at about 2 1/2 -3 weeks.

Reply:NO BUT SOME LIKE BABIES CAN BE BORN WITH MILK TEETH
Reply:er......i dont think ive ever thought of that

i actually dont have a clue
Reply:no, they usually start growing in around 6-7 weeks of age. I've worked in non-kill animal shelters and have seen first hand. We'd get pregnant dogs %26amp; cats and see the babies from day one.
Reply:yes, and claws.
Reply:no just like a human baby their teeth grow in later
Reply:Yes they do! They can be a bit sharp and they tend to bite alot when teething.Its the adult ones that can hurt more...........
Reply:yes because how would they chew on there food
Reply:No, they are not born with teeth. Think about it, would a mama dog let them nurse if she was being bitten? No. They are just like human babies in that respect. That also goes for dogs, and probably a lot of mammals that will be only drinking milk for a while.
Reply:Chetco is correct.

Puppies are NOT born with teeth.
Reply:Nope, they don't have teeth until about 2 weeks after their born. Just like Chetco said. But they do have a cute little tongue that is cupped in their mouths for nursing. n.n;
Reply:Yes I'd imagine
Reply:no no no
Reply:yes, try playing with a little one and you will know for sure. I had marks to prove this.
