HELP! How can you tell a dogs adult teeth from their baby teeth?!?!?

my five month old puppy just got 4 teeth kicked out and i dont know if it was its baby teeth or its adult teeth please help me as i am really worried.

HELP! How can you tell a dogs adult teeth from their baby teeth?!?!?
how were they "kicked out" did someone kick him in his mouth?

All puppies lose their teeth, some lose them earlier some later. The only way to know for certain is the vet, sometimes you can tell by colour and if you look at the gumline on the tooth you might be able to tell also.

Did the whole tooth come out or did they break? any dog or child that gets a tooth knocked out needs to see the vert/dentist....an infection can result or if part of teh tooth is retained than you worry about abscessing. An infection in a mouth can be fatal if not dealt with properly and quickly enough.

Please take that pup to the vet to get him properly assessed. IF he was in fact kicked by a human, that also needs to be reported to the authorities. Depending if thsi person resides your home or not it may be best that puppy finds a new home.

If i am wrong about the kicking I apologize, but when you say kick it implies that someone has raised a foot with force to an innocent animal, a BABY animal to boot.
Reply:if your that worried take the dog to the vet. their adult teeth come through at 4 -6 months. they normally will push out the tempoary teeth.. if there are broken teeth left in the mouth then take it to the vet and get them removed.. your puppy will live, its only a few teeth
Reply:Puppies lose their baby teeth between 3-5 months old--starting with their incisors and followed by their canines (fangs) around 4-6 months of age.

You must take your dog to the vet as an avulsed tooth is very painful and dangerous for your dog (bacterial infection can set in). A dog with a sore mouth will developing nutritional deficiencies and even aggressive tendencies.
Reply:How were they kicked out? The wording makes it sound like it got a foot to the mouth.

Of course you may mean they fell out on their own, which is normal for a puppy that age.

If the puppy hasn't lost those particular teeth yet, then it only makes sense that they are puppy teeth.
