Is this a problem for my puppy?

My puppy is losing her teeth and now her bottom lip is hanging over inside the mouth. It flops over her bottom teeth, is this normal? thank-you for your help

Is this a problem for my puppy?
Take your puppy to a vet to be sure.
Reply:I would take to the vet to be sure, especially since its a puppy.
Reply:puppies lose their teeth just like kids do. If you are worried, you can always give your vet a call.
Reply:Puppies lose their baby teeth and then grow in adult ones just like little kids do. It's perfectly normal.

However, I would call the vet about the bottom lip. Though if she just lost a bunch of bottom teeth, that may be the reason... she may just not be used to the extra space there. Still, ask the vet. A phone call is free.

I didn't copy Agility, I swear. That was weird.
Reply:it depends. how old is she??? if she is very young then its normal. but if not, then i'd get it checked out!
Reply:what kind of dog is this?

normally when they lose teeth, the new

ones come right out. my rat terrier

lost her teeth and new ones were out the next day
Reply:It will be OK when the new teeth grow in! No worries!
Reply:If you dog is under 9 months, then I wouldn't worry too much. Puppies loose their teeth just like humans do, and they get new ones in quickly. In the rare case, it may take a week or two for the new adult tooth to come in, but that's usually if something traumatic caused the baby tooth to come out early.

Usually, the dog will swallow the baby teeth, but I have 2 from my great dane that I found stuck in her rope pull toy! There is sometimes blood involved when a baby tooth comes out, (again, just like human teeth) but if you are concerned, give your vet a call.
Reply:Its normal look for them Its very weird If you find one of her teeth...
Reply:See the VET then you will have the correct answer.
