Does anyone know anything about that WySong DentaTreat, which is supposed to replace teeth brushing for dogs?

I've just come from the pet store, where I went to buy a toothbrush and toothpaste for my still-teething puppy (in preparation for his adult teeth). However, while shopping, the associate approached me and told me that there was a powder to put on my puppy's food to replace the need to brush his teeth. Apparently, it is supposedly "better" than brushing his teeth, because of the fact that toothbrushes may sometimes cut up his gums. The powder is called "WySong" DentaTreat". Does anyone know anything about this powder (How it works), and whether or not I am supposed to replace my dog's teeth brushing with it?

"A tasty, effective, natural dentifrice treat for canines and felines. It is an alternative approach to maintaining pet oral health, utilizing the scientifically-proven beneficial properties of cheeses, probiotics, minerals, and other natural ingredients.

Composed of a special blend of dental-active natural cheeses, minerals, apple polyphenols, and many other ingredients that help to maintain oral health. It can be sprinkled directly onto food or it can also be used with a toothbrush as a tooth cleaning powder. DentaTreat is made entirely of safe, natural food ingredients and has no artificial colorings or flavorings. It helps to prevent tooth decay and gingivitis, remineralizes teeth, and discourages growth of bacteria that cause plaque and bad breath.

Directions: Sprinkle DentaTreat atop one or more meals daily, using enough to cover the food. It can also be fed directly or applied on to the teeth as a paste mixed with water."
