When to puppies loose their teeth?

I have a approx 12 week old german shepard pup we put her in her kennel at night and she has a calf hoof, a raw hide bone and a chew toy in there for the night well over the last three days I have found two teeth in her kennel and I was wondering if that was normal?

When to puppies loose their teeth?
That's about the right age.....between 3 and 5 months!
Reply:My puppy is about 4 months and I actually found one of his teeth! They usually swallow them because they lose them while they are eating or chewing on something. I think by 6 months, they should have lost all their baby teeth. Your puppy is probably just chewing on her toys and they fall out. Its okay thats what there suppose to do!
Reply:Rawhide and hooves are not suitable for puppies. They usually start by losing their bottom front teeth at 17 weeks.
Reply:Usually 15 or 16 weeks or so they'll start to lose their teeth, chewing anything and everything. The hoof isn't a good thing to chew, even tho they say that they won't splinter off, it's not true. I have seen them splinter..

She is likely slightly older than what you were figuring if she is losing her teeth.
Reply:Puppies have 28 temporary teeth (called puppy teeth or milk teeth) that start coming in at about 4 weeks of age. They generally fall out between 14 and 30 weeks of age and are replaced by 42 adult teeth.
Reply:Puppies can start losing their milk teeth (baby front teeth)around 12 weeks of age. I wouldn't recommend the cow hoof or the rawhide for so young a puppy. It's digestive system is probably not developed well enough for those abd she could get loose stools or an obstruction. Try a puppy Nylabone instead of those. Rawhides are generally not recommended until 6 months.
Reply:yah that is it is better that they loose them than them rotting and having to get a vet to take them out. Put them under youre pups pillow and let the tooth farie take them and leave more hooves
