My 10 week old boxer puppy's k9 tooth is cutting into the inside of his bottom lip?

he has an appointment on wed. But his bottom lip inside has a large hard bump with a hole in the center where his tooth goes into when he closes his mouth. Its only on the one side. is it an absess? What can I do for him until his appointment?

all you can do is keep it clean with diluted peroxide. The tooth will more then likely have to be cut or removed. Don't worry it will heel up after the vet has done his job.
Reply:try to keep it as clean as possible. other than that, there really isnt much more you can do.

His appointment will come, just be patient. The vet will know what to do.
Reply:I would suggest that you try to keep him comfortable until his vet appointment.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!
Reply:You can go to the vet and ask for minor pain killers for animals. They are simular to human pain killers. If you want to go with a cheaper method just give him half of a 500mg tylenol. It should help with any pain he has, I would give him an entire tylenol all day. One in the morning and one in the after noon.
Reply:well, my dog got hit by a car (sob) but he is fine today just like when he was a pup, when he got hit it nocked his k9s off line and they rubbed against the side of his mouth and caused bleeding. but if u want to do anything for it i would suggest just giving asprin lol, dogs can really tolerate alot of pain you would be suprised!
