Loosing Teeth??

My 4 month old shih tzu has lost her 2 front teeth. Is this normal?? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that puppies loose their teeth I guess I was wondering about her age and if loosing them now is OK?? Around what age will they come back??

Loosing Teeth??
It's perfectly normal, dogs have 'baby teeth' and 'adult teeth' just like humans do. Usually, the baby teeth have all fallen out and been replaced by adult teeth by 5-6 months of age.

Shih tzus, like many toy breeds, may not lose all their teeth on their own and have to have one or two teeth pulled by the vet. (The adult tooth sometimes comes in beside the baby tooth, and the dog doesn't lose the baby tooth on their own if this happens.)
Reply:she is at the right age for losing deciduous (baby) teeth and adult ones should come in very quickly.
Reply:Puppies do loose their teeth, they should come in soon. Kittens loose their teeth, too.
Reply:All puppies lose their first teeth. Nothing to worry about at all. It's more of a concern when they don;t as they you have to have them removed by your vet.
Reply:She's a puppy, she is teething. Will lose her puppy teeth and gain her adult teeth.
Reply:TOTTALY normal. my pup started to loose his teeth at 3 1/2 months.

the avrage is between 4-6months
