Puppy questions!!!! HELP?
Puupies loose their baby teeth, just like people. Depends on breed and size for exactly when, but usually between 3-5 months. It's completely normal. If you like, you can even put the lost teeth in your puppy's baby book! I've had several training clients who did that. The only thing you'll want to watch for is that the baby teeth are falling out properly and that you don't have any that have an adult tooth growing right in with it, causing the adult tooth to become crooked. Your vet can help you if you see any potential problems. I know tooth and mouth difficulties are more common in brachiocephallic (pushed in nose) breeds, so keep an eye, but your pup should be fine.
Reply:Yes, puppies lose their baby teeth just like humans do. It usually begins around four months of age and they're done losing teeth around six or seven months old. :-)
Reply:They start approx 14-16 weeks of age losing their teeth.
Reply:yes puppies lose their teeth. they r just like kids. kids lose their baby teeth and gain their adult teeth. this will continue to occur throughout the first year at least of the dogs life. so dont be alarmed if u see one of ur dogs teeth on the floor. its ok.
Reply:yes they do, at our last vet check. she still had puppy teeth. so we have to wait for rabies shot till next time... dont know why but ah well... she is healthy...
Reply:hes teething no problem its normal give him a chow toy!
Reply:umm i dont think so.
Reply:Definitely normal! My puppy is teething right now. Some things to try if his gums are hurting are ice chips or letting your puppy chew on a frozen washcloth.
Reply:Yes, all puppies lose their teeth, usually between 4-6 months of age. You may or may not notice this happen, and you may or may not find the teeth. Usually they swallow them. The new teeth will grow in very quickly, usually within a day, and you might not notice them being gone before the new ones already replace them! Good news is, puppy teeth are a lot sharper then adult teeth!
