1 month old puppy?

I have a 1 month old pomeranian puppy atm..my brother got it and i took it away from him because i thought it was too young to be away from his mother... since giving him back to the mother was not an option i decided to nurse him for a month or so and give him to my brother when I think he is ready... .My question is...i have been bottle feeding him puppy formula from a pet store about 4 times a day..and since he has little teeth i also feed him baby food...(gerbers step 1)...once a day....is it ok to feed him human baby food?......i have a shitzhu who has pretty much adopted him and he looks healthy and round and fluffy so he definitely isnt losing weight and he's also starting to run around and play...think he's gonna be ok?

At this point if he has teeth, you can mix puppy food with water until it is like a mush and soft. He should be able to eat it. In the next couple of weeks decrease the water to just dry food.
Reply:Human baby food is fine as long as its the rice or flake stuff. Alot of breeders use this when they swich pups from milk to solid foods. It also has alot of good protines and fats for a puppy.
Reply:Should be fine with your care.

puppy tend to be hungry than dog....

It might become choosy after it grown old
Reply:NO. Baby food contains things dogs shouldn't eat, onions for one. If he has teeth it's time to start weaning him to PUPPY FOOD!. Soften it first and let him figure out how to go about eating it.
Reply:a little stray dog came to us a few yrs ago and had 6 pups a couple of mths later she started weaning them at roughly 2 and1/2 and 3 weeks old so i bought puppy wet food and dry and mixed it with rice pablum and jared baby foods of chicken and beef.they did great on it. i got wormer from the vet for all of them and found them good homes. i kept the first born and she is a good loyal girl.
