HELP! My puppy is not eating?

i have a 4 month old golden retreiver puppy, and for the past 2 days, she has been reluctant to eat. She's lost some teeth, she likes socks, (although we are very careful about picking them up) and she likes napkins, papertowels, tissues etc. Could one of these be the problem or could it be something else!?

HELP! My puppy is not eating?
Consult the vet immediately to examine his abdomen for some blockage.

But I doubt about she's having any blockage, because she should vomit even after drinking water. If she's not vomiting then there may be some other reason. Sometimes puppy's lose their appetite because after eating paper material.

Get her checked up asap, the puppy's get weaker day by day %26amp; delay may cause the the situation to become out of control.
Reply:could very well have a blockage caused by an eaten sock.. call the breeder and call your vet.. well if she did poop and pee,, she is alright.
Reply:Ohhhhh, poor puppy! Take her to the vet.:)
Reply:definatley take her to the vet
Reply:It very likely could be the teething.. They lose their teeth and have a hard time chewing food..
Reply:If she's not eating, I would recommend taking her to the vet. Puppies eat almost everything and blockages in their intestines or stomach are fairly common. However, if they are not treated the problem is life threatening- it needs to be taken care of as soon as possible. Sometimes these things will pass, but other times the vet needs to go in and remove the contents of the stomach or the blockage in the intestines.

Good luck.
Reply:could be a blockage or her mouth could be sore from the lost teeth new teeth etc. offer her some canned food and see what happens. if it turns out that she is just sore buy her a bone with water inside it that you can freeze you can get them at petsmart. take her to the vet if it doesnt improve.
Reply:GO TO THE VET!!

are you feeding it hard food? because puppies are suppose to eat soft food until a certain age.
Reply:aww poor doggy! take her to the vet!!! please!!
Reply:You should by her some dog treats because she might eat that or you Can do what we do to our dog give her some of people food like steak, hamburgers, etc. If that doesn't work you might need to take her to the vet because something might be wrong with her.
Reply:take her to a vet they can tell you whats wrong better then we can
Reply:thak her to the vet!!! or at least call the vet and ask him if everythings ok
Reply:Dont give her paper towels nor socks. Are you crazy? Keep everything out of reach. Try giving her such things as hotdogs with a bit of peanut butter on them to stimulate her appetite. Also, she's prolly losing her teeth due to a lack of nourishment. Do see a vet. They can give you special gel called Enercal High Calorie Gel. It stimulates their appetites and gives them energy.
Reply:Awwwwwww.... Poor puppy! I agree with everyone else, take her to see the vet and keep small items and such out of reach.

P.S. you are so lucky!!! (To have a pup that is)
