My puppy just "kissed " me all over my face and my lips while i was lying on the sofa , is this bad for you ?

we have a new puppy and it just jumpted up on to my chest and lickeded my entire face including my lips , before i could do anything . i have just went a washed my face with anti bacterial face wash , and brushed my teeth .how bad is it for you for a dog to kiss youlike this ????

No this is not bad for you, dogs have antiseptic tounges. If u have a cut and your dog licks it you should find it will heal quicker.

Reply:no. the dog should be worried about getting germs. a dog's mouth is dirtier than a humans. besides most diseases either affect a human or a dog, not usually both.

Reply:We have a dog that jumps all over the house. Sometimes she licks my face, but it doesn't hurt anything. I mean, sure she licks my lips sometimes, but totally on accident. Its not really bad for you to get licked on the lips unless your dog eats something really disgusting before it licks you (dung, garbage, etc.). Thats when you really have to worry about getting the anti-bacterial items out.

Reply:dear lady as a dog breeder i can assure you that you are safe, however dogs are dirty animals you have gotten the equivelent of licking a toilet bowl in a rugby club worth of germs. forbid your animal from doing so again by giving it a slap, not hard mind you just hard enough so it knows not to do it again.

Reply:well for one thing dogs lick there butts when they clean them selves and all so if a dog has worms or a desire by being kissed by the same dog it could be transferred now its OK to be liked on the arm and check just not on the moth only like the legs or other body parts are OK just not moth so if you dog likes you its naturally don't hate it for that just if it does that again wash your face just don't get ride of your dog and if you do give to a good person
