MY POOR YORKIE PUPPY!!! please help me!!?

hi,i got a yorkie puppy yesterday and she is female,8 weeks old and small.she finds it hard to walk on our wooden floor and i have to put her food in her mouth for her coz she cnt eat it coz it falls out of her mouth. she hasnt any teeth yet. any time i put her on the floor she cries and wnts me 2 hld her. shes really tired all the time and my cousin got 1 yesterday as well but frm another breeder and her puppy is very active wen mines asleep quite alot. she got her first shot yesterday cud that b the reason!? please answer evrybody!! thnk u! =)

contact your breeder immediately... and get the pup to the vet for a thorough PRE buying checkup
Reply:contact breeder, and go to vet for her first check-up. Bring all of these concerns up with her.


Also, puppy's should have teeth at 8wks old... as for the wooden floors, it may take some getting use to for her just don't baby her too much with the holding and place her down and call her over and get her to come to you, that way she is forced to walk on them and therefore become used to it.
Reply:Definitely contact the breeder... maybe she needs softer food or is used to a different type? Don't take any chances... CALL!
Reply:ohhh yep that could be it shots alwys make you feel sleepy and tiered but it could be the breeder. if in like a day it still isn't check it on the vet. but you need to contact the breeder right now. go to the vet hope your pups alright.
Reply:Sounds to me like the pup is younger than 8 weeks. No teeth! The puppy sounds like it still needs to be nursed by it's mother. You probably got the pup from a backyard breeder or a pet shop. Call the vet. The pup probably needs to be on puppy formula not on solid foods yet. Shots do cause similar side effects but this pup sounds too young.

Reply:Id take it to the vet, it should have teeth and be running everywhere,not having trouble with much of anything at 8 weeks. By 3 weeks its a never ending job keeping track of them,if they get out of the kennel normally, and she should be eating dry food full time at that age (8wks). I currently have 4 (they are between 3-4 wks old ,and they are scampering everywhere) just started them on soft foods this week,to relieve the strain on the mother,with no teeth,limited mobility and sleeping all the time, it sound like yours is much younger than 8 wks or has some medical condition.
Reply:CONTACT THE BREEDER sorry that was to get ur attention they should have teeth by 6 weeks! If shes 8 weeks then there is something gone wrong in the breeding
Reply:You have to feed her soft food at least 5times a day. If she is eating less then she will die from hypoglycemia. Carry her with you all the time for now for warmth. Feed her often. Very often.
