Do puppies lose all their baby teeth?

My puppy is 16 weeks old and all her front teeth are gradually coming out. The new ones erupted almost immediately. Will the molar teeth come out as well and if so when?

Do puppies lose all their baby teeth?
Yes they do!! In your shoes, in the rug or carpet, everything! It depends on the size and breed of the dog but they do lose every tooth and the molars are usually the last to go, but also the most uncomfortable for you puppy. My suggestion, take a clean towel or wash cloth and run it under water, then place it in the freezer for 15-30 minutes and give it to your puppy. The rag is "chewy" and the ice helps to numb the gums through this transition. Good luck!!
Reply:Yes but you may not see them, they swallow them half the time. Most are lost in the first 6 months, depending on breed some of the back ones take up to a year.
Reply:I don't think molars come out.
Reply:Yes. However some dogs, especially the toy breeds, will retain them and need to have them removed surgically. You generally will not find the teeth- they often get swallowed.
Reply:yeah all pups lose there teeth it can take upto a year to for them all to be through
Reply:yes they loose their puppy teeth, and most of htem get eaten...
Reply:I did not know puppies lost their teeth. I have had many puppies and do not remember any of their teeth coming out!

Reply:Yes they will lose their baby teeth, sometimes they swallow them but sometime you may find them, in a chew toy etc.
Reply:Yes the molars will come out too just like human babies lose their teeth, the back olnes are usually swallowed when the dog is eating does them no harm.
Reply:no they wont all fall out
Reply:yes my westie lost all hers and we kept the new ones in good condition with dental chews
Reply:yes but they swallow them. That's why we tend not to see them
Reply:the molars take longer. They start with the front ones and work backwards. She will need lots of hard things to chew at this time to help get rid of the loose teeth.Try her with a very big roasted bone such as you can get in the pet shop, or cow hooves or pigs ears.
Reply:yes they doo and then they get really nice adult teeth.
Reply:YES
Reply:puppy teeth come out and grow very quickly the molar teeth if not all ready out mite have all ready fallen out and you didn't realise it , its happened to me and I'm a breeder if you are asking this question because your worried open the dogs mouth and take a look if you see Any ready to fallout just gently persuade it by playing with it but dont keep the dogs mouth open for to long cos he/she will get frightened hope i have helped .
