My puppy is geting teeth is there anything I can give him to stop the pain???He has a lot of toys to chew on but he still seems to be in pain???

My little puppy?
theres a toy that you can get at any pet store just about that is filled with water that you freeze to help with the pain just like a frozen baby teething ring. try that
Reply:you can give him a 1/4 baby asprin
Reply:Cut up an old t-shirt, wet it, and then put it in the freezer in a ziplock bag. Once it is frozen, give it to him (you have to watch him with it, because he can eat it) somewhere that you don't mind a little wetness and slobber (like in his crate). The coldness numbs the pain of the teething. I would not give him any medication for humans unless you check with the veterinarian first.
Reply:Try Adult strength Ambasol. You r dog may act alittle crazy at first but it will help numb the pain. Inleast hes not chewing up you r whole house like my 14week old American Bull is.
Reply:you can buy the same thing that they use for chilldren. You can also just lightly apply some toothache pain and it will numb the gums
Reply:There are a couple things that could probably help your puppy....

1. Chew toys always are helpful, but freezing them also helps a lot, because it numbs the pain. You can also get something soft, like an old shirt, and put it in a bag and freeze it and give it to your dog.

2. Some veteranarians offices carry kind of like a dog motrin. Ask your local vet about it.

3. Don't forgeet to give him lots of love and keep him distracted as much as you can:-)
Reply:The person who said to freeze a cut up tee shirt (I use small washcloths) is right on. This works perfectly. Please don't give any human meds at all until you check with the vet. Good luck with your baby!
Reply:try freezing a wash cloth thats wet and letting him chew on it
Reply:pups like things to chew on, and in the past iv had a few staffs and have always found myself getting a old car Tyre and letting him chew at that, tie it on sum rope and let it hang, they play for hours and its great for there teeth and gums
