My 5 months old puppy just lost her tooth & another one is getting loose in her mouth...?

Should I pull out the loose tooth in her mouth for her? Is it okay to feed her the normal dry puppy food she's been eating or is it too hard for her to eat? Should I feed her something special?

your puppy is getting her adult teeth. don't pull out the tooth it will fall out by itself.she is teething right now !! try wetting an old washcloth, put it in the freezer for a while.than give it to her to chew on.it cools and makes her gums numb,so she won't feel any pain.
Reply:Don't pull the tooth out. Let her work it out on her own. You can feed her the same thing you always do, because dogs teeth grow in really fast. Within a day or two, she'll probably be sprouting new ones.
Reply:Everything is fine and you do not need to get involved. It is part of the growing process. The puppy will get rid of the loose tooth through chewing toys. Sometimes soaking a puppy's toys (such as a rope bone) in water and then freezing it is enjoyable for a puppy since ice can act as an antagesic (pain killer)

You do not need to change her food. The dry is fine. If however, you do see her not eating her food as well, then offer her some wet food but if she's fine with the dry, keep her on the dry.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. Just let the process happen :)
Reply:its natural for puppies to lose teeth, they will grow back, leave the loose tooth and maybe some water in the food to soften it up

good luck
